Assault In Bambous: The Weapons Of Crime Disappeared

The police are looking for the two sharp weapons that disappeared from the crime scene at the NHDC of Bambous. These two weapons were next to the dead body of Nicolas Manoovaloo. Moreover, the police have already placed a security cordon.

However, we understand that three individuals penetrated the security perimeter and took the edged weapons away from the noses of the police.

However, the three individuals were arrested and detained for obstructing the investigation but the weapons were not recovered.

Four suspects were arrested in this investigation. Nicolas Marday, 41 years old, one of the suspects confessed. According to his version, he acted in self-defense.

As a reminder, Nicholas Manoovaloo, 39 years old, was stabbed during a fight on Friday night. His funeral took place this Sunday, November 28

The members of the CID, who are on this case, are on the track of an individual considered as a key witness.

According to the video surveillance images, he was in the company of Nicolas Marday and he would have moved away when he saw the situation degenerate.

According to the first elements of the investigation, an argument broke out between Nicholas Manoovaloo, Nicolas Marday and Djameel Sandy Mooken before degenerating.

Injured, Nicolas Marday had to be hospitalized and since then, he is under police surveillance on his hospital bed.  He admitted using the sharp weapon to defend himself. As for Djameel Sandy Mooken, he underwent a delicate operation on Saturday morning after the attack.
