They were all, or almost, in front of Government House this Saturday to pay tribute to Soopramanien Kistnen. We had the four leaders of the L’Espoir platform but also Arvin Boolell and Suren Dayal, for the Labour Party. Rama Valayden and all the members of the Avengers were there also. They all had the national flag of Mauritius in their hands. If the opposition leaders came directly to Parliament, it should be noted that there was a peaceful march beforehand organized by the Avengers. The demonstrators came to the Government House from the office of Sanjeev Teeluckdharry.
Valayden want the reward money to increase to Rs 5 million
Friday, Rama Valayden and some of the Avengers participated in the unveiling of a stele of Soopramanien Kistnen at the Telfair roundabout in Moka. He recalled that the group of lawyers and the police are offering Rs 500,000 as reward money for anyone with information on the Kistnen case. Rama Valayden made an appeal to the Prime Minister to offer a reward money of Rs 5 million to anyone who may help the police to identify the murderers of the former MSM agent. Before the unveiling of the stele of Soopramanien Kistnen, there was a peaceful march organised by the Avengers.
