Jean Adriano Miguel Lebou, 18 years old, also known as Mario was killed in the early morning hours of Sunday, September 26, after he lost control of the motorcycle. He was riding on Cormoran Street, Baie du Tombeau when he was involved in an accident. A 24 year old St. Croix resident who was traveling with him as a rear seat passenger was injured. The autopsy performed on the body of Adriano Lebou attributed his death to a skull fracture.
It was around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 26, that police officers from the Baie du Tombeau police station went to this location following a request. Two youths with injuries were lying on the asphalt on Cormoran Street. A Suzuki motorcycle was in a gutter. The 24 year old passenger was evacuated to the North Hospital by an ambulance of the Emergency Medical Service (Samu). As for the person who was driving the motorcycle, the doctor noted his death on the spot.
His body was transported to the morgue of the Dr. A.G. Jeetoo Hospital, Port-Louis where Dr. Ananda Sunnassee, Police Medical Officer who autopsied the body attributed the death to a skull fracture. The motorcycle, which was seriously damaged, was taken to the Baie du Tombeau police station for examination. The investigators intend to take the statement of the passenger in the back to know the circumstances of this accident.
The funeral of Adriano Lebou will take place at 1:30 pm this Monday, September 27th. After the funeral ceremony at the church of St-Malo, Baie du Tombeau, he will be buried at the cemetery of Saint-Georges in Petite-Rivière.
