R&A Case: Supreme Court Asks For All Parties To Take A Stand

The application of Rezistans ek Alternativ to have recourse to the Privy Council was called before Chief Justice, Rehana Mungly-Gulbul this morning. The case has been adjourned to 14 November. But during this audience, the Chief Justice asked for each party to take a stand on the application of Rezistans ek Alternativ. The left-wing movement’s Constitutional complaint, which challenges the obligation to declare one’s ethnicity in general elections, was rejected by the Supreme Court last September. The left-wing movement wants to challenge this rejection before the Privy Council.
