ICAC Allows Bianca Gurroby To Open Four New Bank Accounts

The bank assets of the Gurroby family as well as those of their private companies are still frozen. However, the ‘Independent Commission Against Corruption’ (ICAC) made an agreement with Rachel Bianca Gurroby that she can open a new bank account for each company. Some weeks back, a motion had been submitted before the Supreme Court for the thawing of the assets of ‘Babul and Sons Fishing Company’, among others. As a reminder, Ritesh and Nitesh Gurroby were arrested under provisional charges of drug trafficking, after 269 kilos of hard drugs were discovered buried underground on a wasteland at Pointe Aux Cannoniers during the month of April.
