The laboratories of the Ministry of Health and Welfare performed 3,270 PCR tests on Thursday, June 24, 2021.
The last results were obtained late in the evening.
- 2 cases were detected on Day 7 in quarantine. These are patients who tested negative on admission to the quarantine center.
- 9 cases were detected thanks to the Contact Tracing exercises in progress. These people were already admitted to the quarantine center on Day 0 and Day 1.
1,196 people have contracted COVID-19 since March 5, and as of yesterday afternoon, 810 of them considered to be cured have been able to return home.
The country currently has 369 active cases of COVID-19 and as of this morning, only 38 of them were admitted to New ENT Hospital due to pre-existing comorbidities or mild symptoms requiring medical monitoring.
