Yesterday, September 28, the Muslim community celebrated the Yaum-un-Nabi holiday, which marks the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (pssl). The guest of honor is the President of the World Islamic Mission, Maulana Anas Noorani Siddiqui.
The Deputy Prime Minister, Dr Anwar Husnoo, the Vice President of the Republic, Eddy Boissesson, Minister Fazila Daureeawoo, Minister Dorine Chowkhory, and Members of Parliament from both the Government and the Opposition were present.
The President of the World Islamic Mission, Maulana Anas Noorani Siddiqui, prayed for the people, the sick, the young and others. In his address, the Maulana sent a strong message of peace, religious tolerance and brotherhood.
