Miss Universe Mauritius 2021, Anne Murielle Ravina has announced her departure from the Miss Supranational organization through a video posted on 15th April 2022 on Facebook. The fear of a destroyed career is very real, but Anne Murielle Ravina has decided not to let herself be taken over and to be heard. A title is not everything in life. What good is a crown if you can’t enforce your values?

For her, many women have fought many battles to reach where they have reached today and to be a Miss, it means a lot for her. It is a school life which brings out the better version of oneself. Being Miss is much more than a title and a beautiful crown, and participants often learn it the hard way.
She is withdrawing from Miss Supranational Organization because one cannot be associated to an organization that limit women, in who they are, what are their potential and what they can accomplish. Thus, she refuses to be part of something going against her values.
