The big outsider Triple Fate Line finished in front of the two favourites Marauding and Dynamite Jack to bag his first win in Mauritius Saturday at the Champ-de-mars racecourse.
For a debut in Mauritius, it was a stroke of brilliance from Brazilian jockey Ivaldo Santana de Oliveira. He rode a perfect race with Triple Fate Line. De Olivera wanted to hit the front but he did not asked too much from his horse. Triple Fate Line was full of running before entering into the final straight.
The Shyam Hurchund’s trained was then chased by the two big favourites Marauding and Dynamite Jack. De Olivera proved to be an excellent finisher and Triple Fate Line held on gamely.
