The Minister of Labor commented on the Covid-Leave and gave his opinion on PCR tests, vaccines and the meeting with trade unionists regarding the number of entitlement leaves and local leaves of public and private sector workers.
Focusing on the decisions taken last Friday by the Council of Ministers, Soodesh Callichurn pointed out that employers who had not paid the year-end bonus or taken leave for an employee who had received a vaccine will have to reimburse their workers. At the same time, he said that: “From now on, if a worker for a vaccine is considered as a special leave and leave paid by the employer. ”
He also stated that employers will be required to contribute to the FMP.
