Disappeared In 2022: Mason Reportedly Killed

Must Read

The Major Crime Investigation Team (MCIT) at police headquarters has information that a 28-year-old mason living in the Grande Pointe aux Piments housing estate, who has been missing since Tuesday February 22, 2022, may have been the victim of a malicious act. A suspect arrested by the team of investigators led by Superintendent of Police Vikash Seebaruth incriminated another individual involved in the disappearance.

It was on the morning of Thursday February 24, 2022 that the father of the missing man, a 62-year-old security guard working for a private security company, went to the Trou aux Biches police station to report his son missing. The latter had been seen that day by a neighbor near the Mustapha snack bar in Grande Pointe aux Piments. He was wearing a yellow t-shirt and a pair of slippers.

The suspect arrested by MCIT explained that he had met a friend of his, a notorious 29-year-old recidivist from Roche Bois, who used to put in his “call” (presence) at the Abercrombie police station on Sainte Croix. The man confided that he had had an argument with the victim over a knife.  The notorious recidivist is known to the North Division Police Department for having committed a series of organized robberies on the North Shore. At the time, he lived in the village of Pointe aux Piments.

This Saturday morning, November 18, elements of the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of Trou aux Biches arrested this notorious recidivist. The latter gave the MCIT men certain indications before they went out into the field.
