Debates On Bruneau Laurette’s Motion Adjourned To 12 December

Must Read

The activist has been returned to the police cell at Alcatraz. The proceedings on his bail application did not end in the Moka court on Thursday. Magistrate Jade Ngan adjourned the hearing for Monday 12 December. As a result, Bruneau Laurette remains in detention. In court, the police requested that Bruneau Laurette be detained in the central prison. But the activist’s lawyers objected, arguing that there is no facility. Magistrate Jade Ngan ruled in favour of Bruneau Laurette.

It is the DPP’s office objected to the request for the release of Bruneau Laurette.  It is said that  the fingerprints found on the dummy weapons belong to Ryan Laurette and not Bruneau Laurette. Junior was granted parole and it was the DPP’s office that decided not to object to Ryan Laurette’s release on bail… and not the police.
