A 23.82-Acre Residential Subdivision Project In Sainte-Croix

Must Read

The Chu Wan Cheong family is proposing to embark on a major residential development project on St. Croix. The area involved is 23.82 acres, which is owned by Wan-Lim Chui Wan Cheong and his family.

However, Golden Land Holdings Ltd, whose director is Sanjeev Kumar Sookur, will be the developer of the project. The latter has applied for and obtained all necessary approvals from the landowner to develop this part of the island.

The land will be divided into 215 plots ranging from 262 to 600 square metres. Groundbreaking for the land is scheduled for December 2021. The land is located west of the Père Laval road and north of Le Cornu and the Valley parcel in Sainte-Croix. The site is currently covered with invasive plants and contains neither housing nor native plants.

The developer intends to reserve 3,800 square metres of the site for the creation of green space and recreation. An additional lot is thus planned for these spaces. Golden Land Holdings Ltd. believes that this project is ideal for the middle class and upper middle class.
