The most daring burglary was perpetrated at the home of a security guard in the city of Saint Catherine, Saint-Pierre during the day on Tuesday, May 31. They searched his house from top to bottom before leaving with four liters of Double Black whiskey, four bottles of Black Label whiskey, a gold bracelet, a silver ring set with a diamond, three pairs of earrings, three rings, two chains, ten golden nose rings, ten golden foot bracelets, a pair of foot bracelets and a sum of Rs 25,000.
The estimated value of the loot taken is Rs 229,900. The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of Moka has been seized of this case.
