Fabrice Bauluck, Warren Robertson and Cédrick Dinally were crowned at the 26th edition of the World Cup in Hungary in their respective categories.
The first Mauritian to win gold was Warren Robertson in the final of the -54 kg full-contact tournament. Facing the Russian Urii Vlasov, the Mauritian did not give any chance to his opponent, signing a victory with the unanimity of the judges.

No gold medal for Annaëlle Coret (-56 kg ). She lost her final against the Polish Saczuk Paulina by unanimity. In 2016, the 22-year-old fighter had won the bronze medal in the junior category in Hungary. Annaëlle reached the final by beating the Ukrainian Anna Chornobryvets (3-0) on Saturday in the last four.
