Christopher Lagane makes his way into the pro peloton. At the sixth stage of yesterday’s 93.3 km Tour du Rwanda the Team MCB representative finished in twenty-ninth place in 2h 21’9”.
British rider Peter Blackmore won the race in a 2h 12’44” ahead of Colombia’s Jhonatan Valencia, while Kazakhstan’s Kazakhstan’s Ilkhan Dostiyev completed the podium.
Alexandre Mayer, Grégory Mayer and William Piat all came in within time.
Peter Blackmore took the yellow jersey in 12h 00’25”. Mauritian Christopher Lagane is in 53rd place, 34’36” behind the Tour leader.
Saturday sees the seventh stage, 163 km long (D+ 2019m). The Tour du Rwanda 2024 ends tomorrow with the eighth stage.
