After the broadcast of Bruneau Laurette’s interview with TéléPlus on Monday evening, the head of the Police Headquarters Special Striking Team filed a complaint at the Central Criminal Investigation Department on Tuesday. Assistant Superintendent of Police Ashik Jagai accused the activist of making false accusations against him, as well as targeting PHQ SST officers and the police. ASP Jagai is calling for an investigation into what he calls “false allegations” made by Bruneau Laurette. « They are trying to put obstacles in our way, to make the citizens not help the police and to make them lose confidence in the police,” says ASP Ashik Jagai.
To a media, ASP Jagai sent a warning to those who, according to him, try to obstruct the smooth functioning of the police force.
