Urban dance lovers, meet on August 13 at the Port-Louis Waterfront. Participants are called to compete against the best in the following categories: Afrobeat, Hip-hop and Breakdance.
The Wake Up Session is back. This time, it will feature three dance styles as Kenji Kennedy – the organizer – explains: “Afrobeat, Hip-hop and Breakdance will be featured this time. On August 13, participants can register on site starting at noon. The preliminaries and finals will be held the same day. There are no age restrictions to register. However, children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult. ”
However, Kenji says, “The Afrobeat competition is open to a team of two. The Hip-hop competition is open to a team of 3. Only the Breakdance competition will be one on one.”
Note that the winners will leave with medals, trophies and a certificate of participation.
