A raid by police officers of the Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit (ADSU) of Saint-Pierre at the home of Valliamah Mootoosamy, a 49-year-old driver and resident of Providence, Quartier-Militaire, resulted in the seizure of 25 doses of synthetic drugs. The ADSU suspects that this drug was intended for distribution.
It is during the day of Tuesday, July 26 that this seizure was made after the ADSU of Saint-Pierre had information that this man was engaged in drug trafficking. The suspect was arrested and placed in a cell at the detention center of Moka. This Wednesday morning, July 27, he was brought before the Moka court on a provisional charge of drug trafficking. He was then taken back to the police cell.
On the other hand, on the same day, based on information provided by the helicopter squadron, police officers of the ADSU of the South division uprooted 212 cannabis plants measuring between 10 and 65 centimeters in a wood in Mont Blanc, Chamouny.
