“Patent liars” or “cowards”, are the terms used by the PTr for the Prime Minister, Pravind Jugnauth and the Health Minister, Dr. Kailesh Jagutpal in the context of the Molnupiravir scandal.
At a press conference on Tuesday 21st December, Arvin Boolell, the leader of the party in Parliament, was very critical of the Prime Minister and Dr. Kailesh Jagutpal.
“In a statement to the press, Pravind Jugnauth, looking shocked, has maintained that he was not aware of this case while Dr. Jagutpal was absent from Parliament on last Friday,” the Labour MP said.
For the Labour MP, “it is impossible that the PM and his minister are unaware of the dealings” surrounding this scandal.
In the same context, the Labour MP said that the responsibility of the former Senior Chief Executive of the Ministry of Health, Dalida Allagapen is also engaged in the whole affair.
On a similar note, Patrick Assirvaden has said: “We did not espouse the ideology of SAJ, but we must agree that Sir Anerood was of a different temperament. Today, we have a coward at the head of the country.”
