A man, residing in Vallee Pitot, has been arrested today in relation to the murder of Manan Fakhoo which happened in January. The latter had been shot by two unknown individuals, who then escaped on a motorcycle.
So far, the police have arrested 12 persons, and five of them have confessed that they took part in the murder of Manan Fakhoo. The enquiry is still ongoing.
On January 20, 20-21, shortly after 8:30 p.m., Manan Fakhoo was driving his car, a dark gray Hyundai, at the corner of Martindale and Swami Dayanand streets. He was only a few meters from his home when two individuals on a motorcycle opened fire on him. The 56-year-old man died in the early hours of the morning, three days after the incident. His health deteriorated while he was admitted to the intensive care unit of the Victoria Hospital in Candos. A doctor on duty certified his death at 01:40.
