Emmanuel Desroches is currently preparing his first solo album. But before that, the half-singer/half-guitarist is working on other equally exciting projects.
It was his father who introduced him to music and since then the youngster has made it his profession: “My father was a tourist guide and he also does some animation. It was he who introduced me to music. I learned everything in his company and that of his musician friends.
One thing leading to another, Emmanuel became the guitarist of a few groups and performed in a festival in India, before going on to play with Yoan Catherine.
Then one day, the artist also wanted to play his vocal cords: “Before, I had always considered myself a musician. I used to sing a little, but nothing more. But little by little I got the taste for it and today I have no problem saying that I am both a singer and a musician.
To this end, Emmanuel is preparing his first album: “The album will oscillate between groove and soul. I hope to complete the recording this year and then release a first single. The album itself will probably be released in 2023. In the meantime, I’m going to accompany the singer Emelyn to two festivals. One in South Africa and one in India. “
