Mo anvi kone was released on April 15. This single by Dean Rungen is a song of hope in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine. The single will be available on paid download sites.
The Covid-19 did not leave the social worker Dean Rungen insensitive. Also a singer, he wanted to express his pain through words: “Several members of my family have suffered from Covid-19. Faced with this moment of disarray, I took my pen to put all my feelings on paper. I sent the text to my cousin Rovy Armoogum who lives in France. He then shared it with Virish Khyatoo, another French-Mauritian. Both were touched by the text and finally we decided to interpret it together, also evoking the war between Ukraine and Russia. The musical arrangement is by Rovy while Al.bhy contributed as a sound engineer”, explains Dean.
If the band doesn’t have an official name yet, the trio intends to work on other musical projects: “For the moment we haven’t given a name to our band, but what is sure is that we have other projects together.
Note that Dean personally plans to release another single with the collaboration of his cousin Alain Ramanisum.
