This man, 34 years old and resident of Bel Air Rivière Sèche, has reoffended for the cultivation of cannabis. On parole, Kishna Soobrayen was arrested again this Thursday, August 4. This after officers of the Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit (ADSU) of the Eastern Division discovered a cultivation of these plants, 193, on the roof of his house. These plants, which measure between 25 and 60 centimeters, have a market value of Rs 772 000.
It is on the basis of certain information to the effect that this suspect indulged in drug trafficking and it is after hours of surveillance that a raid of the ADSU, led by the chief inspector Bhoraj Seeballuck, was carried out at his residence at about 10:30 am on Thursday, August 4. A search made inside gave nothing, and so, these policemen climbed on the roof of his house where under a structure erected as a greenhouse, cannabis plants grown in large plastic bags were discovered.
The suspect was taken to the ADSU office in Flacq for questioning. This Friday morning, August 5, he will be brought before the court of Flacq where he will answer to a provisional charge of drug trafficking and even the cultivation of cannabis. Last year he was arrested for the cultivation of 175 plants.
