The increase in the price of gasoline and diesel represents “a provocation” against Mauritians. This is the opinion of Navin Ramgoolam, leader of the PTr, who was in front of the press this morning. He said that the latest increase in fuel prices, the fourth in 5 months, increase the cost of living in the country. He called for the withdrawal of several taxes in order to lower fuel prices and thus re-synchronize the economy. Navin Ramgoolam was asked about the movement initiated by Bruneau Laurette and Linion Pep Morisien. He said that it is necessary to see what are the objectives of this fuel strike.
