Hubble will be the horse to beat in the last main event of the 2021 season on Sunday. He will face a tough opposition in this group 3 race with Spring Man, Special Blend and Fools Gold.
Hubble won his last three races from pillar to post. He won twice over 1850m and once on the mile. Hubble was then ridden by Malaysian jockey Benedict Woodworth, who left Mauritius and will be riding in Dubai before going back to Singapore where he will spend the 2022 season.
The Simon Jones-trained horse will be ridden by the Champion jockey of 2021 in Mauritius, Dinesh Sooful. The Mauritian rider will have a golden chance to end a marvellous season with a great win. Hubble is in a good shape and he will be hard to beat if he is allowed to take the lead without a fight.
Special Blend changed trainer and he showed good progress since he is trained by Shyam Hurchund. He is a strong finisher and a fast pace will suit him.
Spring Man and Fools Gold, both trained by champion trainer of 2021, Ricky Maingard, have good chances. They both finished behind Hubble last time.
Fools Gold was unlucky as his jockey lost one of his stirrups, which was broken, in the home straight. He will be reunited with Rai Joorawon who won twice with him in 2020. He will be the main danger for Hubble.
Spring Man can follow close and he has got a good finish. He can strike with South African jockey Piere Corne Orffer in the saddle.
