A Children’s Fun Day, aimed at offering leisure activities to children whose families are registered under the Social Register of Mauritius (SRM) and to promote the healthy development of these children, was held on Sunday at Flic en Flac Beach. The objective was likewise to provide children of SRM eligible beneficiaries with the opportunity to socialise with their peers, improve their communication skills, enhance their self-esteem, and further promote their autonomy.
The Fun Day was organised by the Ministry of Social Integration, Social Security and National Solidarity, in collaboration with the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, and the National Empowerment Foundation, in the context of the school holidays.
