Daniella Eole is an artist and art teacher with her own signature style. In fact, she only paints with her fingers. Meet the artist.

It all started when she was at college. Choosing to make a career out of it, Daniella completed a BA in Fine Arts and then went into teaching.
The successive confinements she had to deal with shook her artistic fibre: “As I had the time, I threw myself body and soul into painting. I also took the opportunity to refine a technique that has become my signature today. I paint using only my fingers.
Having since taken part in several group exhibitions, the artist is also preparing to take part in another, this time organised in conjunction with the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence: “The exhibition is organised by the Society for Prabal Pramanik’s Academy of Arts (Bhamlada) and will be on view from 15 to 31 August. It was the president of Arts Inspire Mauritius – Dr Vick Shibdoyal – who encouraged us to submit our application. Thirteen compatriots have also been selected for this exhibition, namely : Dr. Vick Kumar Shibdoyal, Dr.Prakash Jhugaroo, Dev Chooramun, Savi Tupsee, Veetasha Jhummun, Rughoobur Rameshwaram, Prisca K.A Mootoosamy Jessica Gooriah, Ashvin Dhookhorun,Malika,Ramsamy Rishtee and myself. I am presenting a work entitled Beings of light.
