The Ministry of Education on Thursday 25th November has decided what chapters to remove from the syllabus of students in Grade 5. As formerly stated by the Minister of Education, Leela Devi Dookun Luchoomun, who understands that face-to-face and online courses cannot be matched, as much as the potential of each student towards a subject, Grade 5 students will have less to study and revise, particularly those who will take part in the Grade 5 Modular Assessments, i.e. History, Geography and Science and the Primary School Achievement Certificate, i.e. Mathematics, which are scheduled for the end of the third term.
