Covid has caused two new deaths in the last 24 hours. The two patients were both admitted to the New ENT Hospital in Vacoas. The first is a 90 year old man. The second is a 54 year old woman from Terre Rouge. She was vaccinated and had no form of comorbidity.
13 patients were newly admitted to the regional hospitals in New ENT Hospital two more cases. In contrast, 15 patients have been released from this treatment centre. In the last 24 hours, Mauritius has had 38 new positive cases according to the Ministry of Health. As far as vaccination is concerned, 945,238 people have received their first dose, 909,719 the second and 176,502 the third/booster dose.
