For the first time, the big names in French variety music will be on the same stage at the Caudan Arts Center on September 29. At 7pm, the first edition of the ‘Tiroir aux souvenirs’ concert will take place.
During the evening, the audience will take a trip back in time to Rock ‘n’ Roll, or succumb to the melodious voices of local crooners.
The concept also aims above all to pay fervent tribute to Mauritian artists who have marked their era with their talent. This first edition will feature Robert Duvergé, Georgy L’Etourdi, Michael Cassimally, Roland Joseph, Cyril Ramdoo, Karl Allet, Patrick Dumolard, Karl Brasse and Jocelyn Cartier.
The evening will also pay special tribute to three great artists who have passed away, namely : Gérard Cimiotti, Claudio Cassimally and Serge Lebrasse.
For more than an hour, the audience will be treated to the hits of other times, performed by top-notch musicians and performers.
