The public discovered Christelle Thomas with Séga Mambo a cover of Hips don’t lie by Shakira. She is back this year with an EP entitled Remerging. The video clip of the single Perdi mo lizie is expected on October 13.
She has made her way since her first album in 2006. That year, she shared the success of Séga Mambo in duet with Alain Auriant.
After Le Christ est ressuscité, a gospel album released in 2019, she returned to the studio to release Remerging – a four-track EP co-produced with Ichos Production: “If all goes well, the EP will be released in its entirety in April 2022. But for now I’m releasing the singles from the EP in dribs and drabs. Perdi mo lizie an Afrobeat was released on September 21. Three other titles will be released in February, March and April of next year. And there will be something for everyone since the EP will also offer a salsa, a sega and a reggae.
The artist will promote Perdi mo lizie with a video directed by Rahul Singh – a regular in Bollywood productions.
