The complainant explained that her hierarchical superior did not stop making indecent proposals to her since September 23, 2021. She said she was also threatened with a theft charge for going out with this man.

It all began on September 23, 2021 at around 1 pm. While staring at his chest for long minutes, this man had declared, “nou ale manz enn manze tousel, tou lede”. By his looks and the tone of his voice, the cashier said she understood that this proposal was not professional.
He had even specified that if she accepted this proposal, she would be responsible for the filling section. On December 28, 2021, at 10:30 a.m., during a telephone conversation, the manager asked her to come with him so that he could admire her and go out with her. In January of this year during a power cut, this man had come into her office and had taken a chair to her right to prevent her from leaving the premises. The cashier said that on that day, he tried to squeeze her neck with his left hand. He asked her out again for a promotion, but the complainant turned him down again.
On the morning of January 7 of this year, the Director had phoned her to convince her to accept his proposal, otherwise she would be involved in a case of theft in the casino. In return, he will do everything to clear her in this case, but on the condition that she goes out with him and she will also have her promotion. These repeated harassments, says the cashier, cause her a lot of damage.
The police of Curepipe were seized of this case. A source indicates that the arrest of this manager is only a matter of hours.
