Following his expulsion from the National Assembly and the fact that he was named by the Speaker, Rajesh Bhagwan has been suspended for 4 sittings…unless he apologizes. Deputy Prime Minister Steven Obeegadoo moved the resumed motion. The Opposition then staged a walkout.
It should be noted that Rajesh Bhagwan just came back from a suspension of a few sittings.
Shakeel Mohamed also has been ordered out by the Speaker for having used the word “shame” when Minister Jagutpal was about to intervene on the Supplementary Appropriation Bill. He was not named however. Thus he will be present on the next sitting.
