A 6-year-old boy was seriously injured on the evening of Friday May 3 after being hit by a motorcycle. The accident occurred at the corner of rue Nelson Mandela and cité Beau Séjour, Quatre-Bornes. The motorcyclist, who did not stop after the accident, is being actively sought by the police. The condition of the boy, who lives in Labrasserie, Curepipe, is considered serious. A CT scan carried out on the boy at the Wellkin Clinic in Moka revealed a fractured skull.

He was in the street with other children when he was hit by a speeding motorcycle. The two-wheeled machine was not stopped. According to the license plate numbers given to the police, the motorcycle is a Suzuki and belongs to a resident of Camp Chapelon, Pailles.
The child was rushed to the Wellkin Clinic in Moka by his mother. After receiving treatment and undergoing tests, he was admitted to the ward. His condition is considered serious. A scan in the early hours of Saturday morning, May 4, revealed that the little boy had a fractured skull. The boy’s parents and relatives are devastated by his condition.
