A 37-year-old electrician woke up on the morning of Tuesday January 23 to find his house had been broken into. Someone had broken into his home and taken two cell phones, a Gopro camera, two gold rings and the sum of Rs 100,200. All valued at Rs 183,200.
He went to the Midlands police station on the afternoon of Tuesday January 23 to report the theft. He explained that after viewing the surveillance camera footage of his house, he saw an individual inside his house. This happened at 1 a.m. on Tuesday, January 23.
The man rummaged through several rooms in his house and stole two Samsung cell phones, a Gopro camera, two gold rings and the sum of Rs 100,200, of which Rs 89,000 was a loan he had taken out with CIM and Rs 11,200 for his daily expenses.
An investigation has been launched by the CID to find the perpetrator of this theft.
