Since July 5, police officers at the Vallée Pitot police station have overseen an unusual investigation. They had to find a stray dog that had slit the throats of ten goats in a shed on rue Criméa, Vallée Pitot. The 36-year-old owner made the macabre discovery at around 7 a.m. on the same day. He estimates his losses at Rs 200,000. In his complaint, he reported that a white stray dog, whose owner he did not know, had broken into his shed. He also noted that all his animals, aged between three months and three years, had been bitten on the neck. Police officers raided the shed to take a closer look, as did the police photographer and sketch artist.
