Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth chaired the National Emergency Command. According to the information he obtained, Mauritius will pass to class 4 tomorrow at 4 am. Freddy is an intense cyclone and it is a real danger for Mauritius, Rodrigues and St Brandon. He appealed to the public to complete all precautions and to stay at home. The authorities have made all arrangements to come to their aid in case of need. He also stated that the few people who work in St Brandon either for the weather or Raphael Fishing have been evacuated to an island of Rafael Fishing.
It was also noted that the shelter centers are already open.
