Yesterday, 26th January 2023, the 74th Republic Day of India was celebrated with patriotism and pride at the Indira Gandhi Centre for Indian Culture, Phoenix. An enthusiastic gathering of people, including members of the Indian community in Mauritius and friends of India, attended the event.
To commemorate this day, the High Commission of India held a flag unfurling ceremony this morning at the Indira Gandhi Centre for Indian Culture (IGCIC), Phoenix.

The High Commissioner of India, Mrs. K. Nandini Singla unfurled the National Flag of India and read out the Address to the nation by the Hon’ble President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu.
This was followed by a patriotic cultural programme by the artists of the Indira Gandhi Centre for Indian Culture (IGCIC).
