70-Year-Old Woman Found Gagged And Tied Up In Her Home

A 78-year-old woman was admitted to the Jawaharlall Nehru Hospital in Rose-Belle on the morning of Tuesday, January 24. This after she was found gagged and tied up. The septuagenarian had several wounds on her body in her house in Souillac. It was her son who made the discovery before informing the police. She has not yet given a statement to the police to explain the circumstances of her attack.

It was her son, a 59-year-old security guard, who gave a statement to this effect around 2 p.m. at the Souillac police station. In his complaint, he explained that he went to his mother’s home in the locality where he saw her on the floor in a room. She was gagged and her hands and feet were bound with pieces of cloth.

She looked weak and traumatized. His mother, he claimed, had swollen lips, several bruises and scratches on her face, hands and feet. He said he immediately released her mother from her bonds and questioned her, but she could not speak. The septuagenarian was taken to the Souillac hospital. After receiving treatment, she was transferred to the hospital in Rose-Belle.

The security guard pointed out in his complaint that his mother lives under his roof in the village of Souillac. Very often when he does not see her, he goes to the house she used to live in.
