The lawyer went to the IT Unit of the CCID this afternoon. In the presence of ACP Kistnasamy Armoogum, he handed over the USB stick containing the images of the search of Wayne Indiano Attock’s house, taken by a video surveillance camera. The images, according to Rama Valayden and relatives of the pig farmer, showed that the drugs were planted by police officers during the operation. The USB sticks contained videos of suspicious ADSU manoeuvres during an arrest for an alleged drug offence. Rama Valayden said afterwards that non-corrupt police officers felt humiliated after viewing the footage. He urged the Police Commissioner to set up a team, who will have as main objective to review cases of drug planting. The memory stick will be handed over to the Prime Minister tomorrow, Rama Valayden added.
