There will be only six races this Sunday with the fifth which will be the main event after the cancellation of the first leg of the 3 years old championship. Gunston and Sea Dance will be the main contenders with Prospector, Silver Heritage and Liverpool Champ as outsiders.
Gunston will be the horse to beat. He won four of his last five races. He showed that he can make it running in front or off the pace. He is in top form and his only concern will be the 6th draw. His jockey will have to work hard to find a good position on the fence just after the start.
Sea Dance lost by a very short margin last time. He is a very good front runner. He will start from gate number 1, and he will surely try to win from start to finish. Brazilian jockey Michel-Platini De Oliveira will have a golden chance of scoring.
Silver Heritage won his last two races in 2021. He is back to competition after eight months. He might need that run, but he is a very consistent performer, and he can be right there if he has a good trip before entering the final straight.
Liverpool Champ is trying his luck for the second week in a row. He was very unlucky last time when he lost his position just after the start. His trainer, Shirish Narang, felt that his horse can do it this time and decided to nominate his again. He showed some good progress finishing second behind Culture Trip on the first race meeting. He will try to run in the middle of the field and finish strongly in the final straight. He will be a decent outsider.
Battle Of Alesia and Propector did nothing wrong on their previous outings. They are two horses who can turn the tables to win and they are to be seriously be considered for the exotic bets.
