The road claimed two more victims this Saturday, March 4. A 60-year-old man driving a van was killed when his vehicle collided with a single occupancy bus. This accident occurred on the Royal Road from Saint André to Plaine des Papayes.
In Chemin Grenier, an 18-year-old was killed when the motorcycle on which he was traveling as a passenger collided with another two-wheeler. To date, the number of deaths on our roads is 19 compared to 15 at the same time in 2022.
The young man was from Jumbo Road, Chemin-Grenier. Both motorcyclists involved in the accident were injured. They were immediately transported to the hospital in Rose-Belle.
An investigation has been initiated in both cases to shed light on the exact circumstances of these accidents.
