Deliberate act or simple coincidence? A white truck crashed into the gate in front of the home of former minister, Suren Dayal. The events took place around 9:15 pm on Sunday, July 11.
According to the former minister, he was in his house when he heard a loud noise outside. He immediately went outside along with several members of his family. “I saw a white-coloured truck speeding away after tearing off the right side of my gate. There are Safe City cameras in the path it took. I immediately filed a report at the Sodnac Police Station,” says Suren Dayal. Hopefully, the police will be able to track down the vehicle.
As a reminder, Suren Dayal, of the defeated Labor Party candidate in the Quartier-Militaire/Moka (No. 8) constituency, is in the limelighte now as he is challenging the election results in the Supreme Court.
