“I want to share everything I’ve learned,” says comedian Alain Narainsamy, as he launches his acting classes: “People keep asking me if I offer courses. After a stint at the Kreol Festival in Rodrigues in 2023, I had the chance to give training to young people from Rodrigues. That’s how I came up with the idea of launching the theater courses. All you need to do to sign up is to be at least 13 years old,” explains Alain.
Spread over six weeks, the course will teach apprentice actors everything they need to know about the art of acting: “Students will learn how to behave on stage. Diction and improvisation will be among the aspects covered. This course will give apprentices the tools they need to perform easily in a play.”
Also a radio host, Alain Narainsamy will be taking advantage of this theatrical training to share the rudiments of animation with students who so wish: “I’m in the process of finalizing the package. It will also include training for those who want to launch a career as an animator.”
A certificate of attestation will also be issued after the course.
