November 24, 2021. This is the deadline set by the office of the Presidency of the Republic to find a consulting firm to make proposals for the realization of phase II of the renovation of the State House. A meeting between the firms, which are interested in participating in a call for tender’s exercise, is scheduled for November 9 at Réduit. Phase II of the renovation makes provision for the repair of electrical lines, replacement of defective floors and windows, etc.
The tender document states that there will be a general replacement of the electrical wiring, including the replacement of all damaged electrical accessories and the exhaust system in the kitchen and the improvement of the lighting in the hallways. and the provision of an outdoor outlet in the upper veranda; a general check of the plumbing cross-linking network and drainage network and replacement of all damaged piping systems including all faulty plumbing fittings and valves and instant hot water supply in the shower and kitchen, water sanitizer air and automatic diffusers in the toilets, wall-mounted urinals with sensors, tap water on the upper verandas; general check of wall coverings and replacement of defective ones, including polishing, varnishing and provision of washable wallpapers as needed; general inspection of all doors, windows, shutters and replacement of all defective ones, including painting and varnishing; general check of the parquet and replacement of damaged / decomposed elements, including polishing and varnishing.
The State House will also be repainted inside and out. CCTV cameras will also be installed.
