The Tour de France came to an end in Paris on Sunday with the traditional finish on the Champs-Élysées. Jonas Vingegaard won the Grande Boucle for the second time. Giulio Ciccone takes the polka-dot jersey and Jasper Philipsen the green jersey for this 2023 edition of the competition. This final stage was won by Jordi Meeus.
Jonas Vingegaard wins the Tour de France for the second time. The green jersey goes to Jasper Philipsen, who already won last year’s Tour. This marks a fifth Tour victory for the Belgian cyclist. The Grande Boucle has finished on the Champs Elysées since 1975. As a result of the Olympic Games, the finish will take place next year in Nice in an individual time trial. In 2025, the return to normal is already scheduled to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first finish on the Champs Elysées.
