Noemi Alphonse has again qualified for a final. This time she will compete in the final of the 100m T54 which will take place this Wednesday at 3:46 pm. She took 3rd place in her heat in 16″71.
On Tuesday, Alphonse finished 10th in the final of the 1500m T54 at the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo. She had clocked 3:39.83. The gold medal went to China’s Zhaoqian Zhou (3:27.63). Switzerland’s Manuela Schaer took silver (3:28.01), while Australia’s Madison de Rozario took bronze.
However, our compatriot Brandy Perrine has no chance, she took the 5th place in the first series, in 17.33 s.
Anaïs Angéline will compete in the heats of the 100m T37 in the afternoon of this Wednesday.
