On 14 July 2023, the CE of the GRA sent a letter to the Racing Executive which was received at 14.48.
The contents of the letter from the CE of the GRA advised that, the GRA Board has taken the decision to suspend the Personal Management License of Trainer and Owner Mr Vincent Allet with immediate effect. No reasons have been communicated.
Because of the decision of the GRA Board, Mr Allet can no longer hold a license to train and own horses.
Accordingly, all runners under the ownership and training of Mr Allet are hereby scratched from Race Meeting 17, which was scheduled to be run on 15 July 2023.
Opague, Grand Vision, Holy Warrior, Favour and Marauding scratched
The following horses are scratched for Race Meeting 17, to be run on Saturday 15 July 2023.
- Race 4: Opague (number 2)
- Race 5: Grand Vision (number 5)
- Race 6: Holy Warrior (number 4) and Favour (number 5)
- Race 7: Marauding (number 5)
All bets on the abovenamed horses are cancelled, bets are to be reopened in the respective races and monies are to be refunded. Tickets with bookmakers must bear a Special mention for these races. For the tote, the monies will be refunded after the official results for each race, except for the bets where scratched horses are replaced by Tote Favourites. For People’s Tote, bets are refunded with immediate effect.
