Rama Valayden was summoned by the MCIT on Wednesday to be heard as a witness. His summons follows the LPM/RM platform’s evening congress in Moka on Friday where he made some revelations. He has completed the first part of his hearing. He met the press as he left the premises of the Major Crimes Investigation Team (MCIT) shortly before 2pm. The lawyer told journalists that he had given names, handed over photos and provided details of the schedule of Soopramanien Kistnen and former Trade Minister Yogida Sawmynaden.
However, he is due to return to the MCIT on Monday. Rama Valayden explained that he had given certain information in his possession to the police. He added that the Avengers are continuing their investigation to shed light on the death of Soopramanien Kistnen with their limited resources. He asked the police to offer a reward of Rs 10 million for anyone who could help shed light on the case, and to set up a witness protection program.
